Service Description

Hole or Crack Repair Small Holes: These can be from nails, screws, or minor impacts. Large Holes: Often caused by accidents, or during renovations, these require a patch to be cut and securely installed. Cracks: Can happen due to settling or shifts in the house. They may need joint compound and sanding to blend them back into the wall. Water Damage Repair If drywall has been exposed to moisture (from leaks, floods, or humidity), it may need to be replaced entirely or patched with specialized materials. Water-damaged drywall can lead to mold or mildew, so it’s important to address the source of the water issue before repairing. Patching and Seam Repair Seam Issues: Over time, drywall seams can become visible due to settling or poor installation. Re-tape and mud the seams to ensure a smooth finish. Patching: Patch holes or damaged sections, followed by smoothing, priming, and painting to make it blend seamlessly with the rest of the wall. Sanding, Priming, and Painting After repairing or replacing the drywall, it will need to be sanded down to a smooth finish, primed, and painted to match the surrounding wall. Texture Matching If the walls have a textured finish (like knockdown, popcorn, or stipple), the contractor will apply a similar texture to the repaired area to blend it with the existing wall. Ceiling Repairs If your ceiling has drywall damage (like cracks, holes, or water stains), this will also require a specialized repair process, often involving patching, texturing, and painting.
